NDA Policy

At Hardshell Technologies, we understand that inviting someone to look closely at your business systems requires a significant level of trust. Our NDA policy is designed to make that trust explicit and enforceable from day one.

Our Commitment to Confidentiality

Before any security audit, assessment or consulting engagement begins, Hardshell Technologies will execute a mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement with the client. This agreement protects both parties and ensures that sensitive information shared during the engagement stays private.

What the NDA Covers

The NDA executed prior to each engagement covers the following categories of confidential information:

• Network architecture, system configurations and infrastructure details
• Vulnerability findings, security gaps and audit results
• Business processes, client data and internal documentation
• Any proprietary software, tools or technology belonging to either party
• Financial information, pricing and commercial terms
• Employee, vendor or customer information encountered during the engagement

How We Handle Your Information

All findings and client data collected during an engagement are:

• Stored securely and accessible only to personnel directly involved in the engagement
• Never shared with third parties without your written consent
• Transmitted only over encrypted channels
• Deleted or returned to you at the conclusion of the engagement upon request

Duration

Confidentiality obligations under our standard NDA remain in effect for a minimum of three years following the conclusion of an engagement. Given the sensitive nature of cybersecurity work, including vulnerability data, network architecture and system configurations, we believe a three year minimum reflects the seriousness of the information we handle. A longer duration can be agreed upon in writing by both parties if the client requires it.

Insurance

Hardshell Technologies carries both cyber liability insurance and general liability insurance. This coverage provides an additional layer of protection for our clients and reinforces our commitment to operating responsibly and professionally.

Mutual Protection

Our NDA is mutual. Just as we commit to protecting your information, you agree to keep confidential any proprietary methodologies, tools or processes used by Hardshell Technologies during the engagement.
